Reviews and Ratings
I had a unique experience at this ryokan. While it had a shared bathroom, which I wasn't aware of initially, the outdoor onsen was a lovely feature. The breakfast offered a big spread of Japanese food, though it was the same every day. The location is convenient, just a short taxi ride from the station, but be prepared for a few quirks.
Overall, my stay at the ryokan had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the outdoor onsen and the spaciousness of the bathing area, the shared bathroom situation wasn't ideal for me. Breakfast had a nice variety of Japanese food, though it was the same each day. It’s conveniently located near Isawa Onsen Station, making transportation easy.
This ryokan offered a unique experience, but it's important to note that most of the accommodations were busy when we booked, and we ended up in a room with a shared bathroom. While the room had a toilet, the shared bathroom situation might not suit everyone. The onsen was a highlight, especially the outdoor bath, but be mindful of the rotating bath signs. Overall, the breakfast variety was limited, but the hotel did provide room service, which is a plus for dining options.
My stay at the ryokan was a mix of pros and cons. I found it quite convenient since it was one of the few places available when I booked. The shared bathroom situation caught me off guard, but there was a private toilet in the room. The outdoor onsen was a treat, though the dining options were somewhat repetitive, especially for breakfast. Overall, it’s decent if you value the onsen facilities and don’t mind sharing bathrooms, but it might not be ideal for those looking for privacy.
I stayed at this ryokan and found it to be a mixed experience. On one hand, the outdoor onsen and family bath options provided nice relaxation opportunities. On the other hand, the shared bathroom situation might be a challenge for those who value personal space. The location was convenient, just a short taxi ride from the train station, but the breakfast offerings were quite repetitive.
